What is mentioned in bill of child labour

About what is child labor, almost everyone knows that child labor is illegal in India. According to Indian Constitution Article 23, a child who is less than 14 years of age cannot be made to work in a particular area of work according to the labor law and if any person gets it done then he can be punished under Indian law. But it is also a matter of debate that the definite work area has not been mentioned. Before this article was prescribed, children had to work in spite of physical and mental pain, which increased the mental and physical development of children. The development of children is also necessary for the development of the nation. It is the duty of the nation to save the children from any kind of torture.

It is also our duty to protect the fundamental rights of children. International organization also remains to resolve the dispute of child labor, employer and workers in the world. Child labor is widespread in the world, it is estimated that 215 million children are working in dangerous and illegal conditions.

Is it not wrong to treat children in such inhumane manner? June 12 is celebrated as Child Labor Day, whose main objective is to find ways to stop slavery, human trafficking and forced labor.

Why does child labor happen?

When poor parents feel unable to send their children to school, they start sending them to factories and other work places. Children are not only to work, they also have the right to get education and live equally in the society. To stop child labor, 2021 was declared as Child Labor Day. Its main objective is to prevent individuals from promoting child labor and to create an environment of development and education for the children. Some people try to make child labor look like art and this painting shows how a child is living with physical and mental pain. Many films have also been made on child labor in India like Salaam Bombay. But it is not enough to be worried just after making a film and watching it. We should also make hard efforts on this subject and wherever we see any child working in a pathetic condition, try to take immediate action. If you are able, then also help that child to get out of such a situation.
